In the startup command line, with SGM it is possible to create templates with which later the user will have to do only a couple of modifications.

 

Available vars to use with command line

Option Explanation
%IP% IP address that will be used in the game server
%Slots% Max players allowed on the game server. This value is defined in the new server form.
%tag% Branded text that is defined in the game settings.
%hostname% Name of the server. This value is defined in the new server form.
%rconpassword% User rcon password. This value is defined in the new server form.
%privatepassword% User private password to join server. This value is defined in the new server form.
%homedir% Game server user directory. Eg: /home/user/192.168.1.20-30015
%Port% Port 1 value. This value is defined in the game settings.
%Port2% Port 2 value.
%Port3% Port 3 value.
%Port4% Port 4 value.
%Port5% Port 5 value.
%Port6% Port 6 value.
%urlfastdownload% URL to download files from HTTP server (fastdownloads).

 

How create a new template

On SGM navigate to System -> Supported Games -> Jogo -> Command Line -> Add template

Give the new template a name with which users can identify it. You can also specify if the template will be visible to users.

 

After the template has beed created press Edit.

The process of creating a template has an organizational structure with categories in order to deliver an easier management. After creating the categories you may add the commands you desire.

Just like with config templates, in command line SGM has different types of commands.

There are three types of commands that you can create.

  • Text
  • On/Off
  • Select List

Option Explanation
Category Category which the command will be associated.
Command The Command name. Eg: -tickrate
Type The type of input that the user wil see.
Value The value of the command. Eg for tickrate: 66
Label Info for the less experienced users.
Editable Whether or not the user is able to edit the value.
Optional Whether or not the user is able to remove the command from the command line.
Visible If the command is visible for users.
Words refused Words that will be forbidden for users to insert.

 

After creating your commands you should have a template similar to this.
